The house has only recently been rented out again after we have renovated and improved it step by step in recent years. We therefore do not have many reviews yet, but we are convinced that there will be. It is a nice quiet and comfortable place.
Last week was a very nice week. Make beautiful memories. The house was very complete and ready to move in on arrival. It is located in a quiet area with several sights / major cities within a reasonable driving distance. The evenings in the jacuzzi are unparalleled under the open starry sky. The use of the wood stove also gives a wonderful atmosphere in the house. Definitely recommended to come back.

We have had great days in this renovated former farmhouse in the middle of France
Ready for a nice holiday and located on the route to Santiago de Compostela.
The starry night sky is impressive and will not soon be forgotten.
If you are looking for peace, space, (mostly) sun, French markets, many sights, delicious food and a swimming location within driving distance, then it is highly recommended.

If you are looking for a tranquil holiday in a rural setting in France then this spacious farmhouse is the place to come.
This house in the Berry province will give you a real experience of French life.
It is set in a beautifully kept Ville Fleurie (the French list for pretty villages)
All amenities and shops are only a short drive away. There are plenty of local village walks to be had on a warm summer evening.
The local major town of La Chatre (about 12km away) has a good selection of supermarkets and major stores as well as a delightful town centre full of shops and restaurants.
The house is well equipped throughout. With a south facing sunny garden (lots of cute little lizards to watch) you are also provided with everything you need to eat and live outdoors, e.g. a BBQ and plenty of picnic tables
The house has a wonderful large kitchen diner which really is the heart of the house.
Wonderful towns to visit in our opinion:
Montlucon ( about 40 miles)
Argenton-sur-Creuse (about 30 miles)
Just as a side note, don’t miss a trip to the local swimming lake at Sidailles. Lots of fun things to do to while away an entire sunny day.
Le Four a Chaux has become a firm favourite for us and we will be back!

Wat is dit een heerlijke plek om te verblijven.
Een prachtig mooi schoon en ruim landhuis met alle gemakken die wilt.
Heerlijke rustige omgeving.
Maar bovenal is alles super netjes en goed geregeld.
√ Helder duidelijk huurcontract met prima betalingsvoorwaarden
√ Een nuttige handleiding met alle belangrijkste instructies voor het huis
√ En als je een vraagt hebt reageert Stephanie altijd netjes en snel.
Stephanie is ontzettend betrokken en regelt zelfs meer dan je vraagt.
Dat is pas ontzorgd worden.
We hebben heerlijk met familie en vrienden genoten van deze vakantie.

Het weekje in Neret was voor ons echt een adempauze en een moment om tot rust te komen.
In het huis was echt alles aanwezig, van keukengerei tot apparatuur en beddengoed, noem maar op!
We hebben veel plezier gehad van de jacuzzi en enorm genoten van de rustige, prachtige natuur en omgeving. Echt een aanrader om even uit je hoofd te gaan en lekker te ontspannen. In ons geval met ons zoontje van 1,5jr, en zelfs hij had het heerlijk naar zn zin met de grindsteentjes in de tuin en zn lekkere bedje op zn eigen kamertje boven 🥰 Aan alles was gedacht!
